Diving Equipment
The right diving equipment is essential for a safe and
fun diving experience. The most important piece of equipment is the
life support device. This is often in the form of an oxygen tank that
is strapped to a diver’s back.
Other diving equipment that is important to a successful dive is a
good suit and a set of fins. A suit may be wet or dry depending on the
climate and weather. On the other hand, fins are usually just a set
of fins that are made especially for diving.
Some optional pieces of diving equipment include a BCD and a weight
system. A BCD or a buoyancy control device aids the diver in surfacing.
A weight system will also assist a diver in descending and surfacing.
